Meet sweet Claude. He came to the shelter as a shy, under socialized and sensitive cat, which also means that he can feel a little overwhelmed at times and will go to his cozy bed to recharge and then return when he's ready!He's very cute when he plays with his wand toy, and he loves batting around a ping pong ball. He also enjoys just hanging out with his foster mom. Even though he doesn't like being picked up and held at this time, he does like being gently petted (especially on the top of his head, side of his face and back). He is an indoor only cat, but he does like looking out the window. He has some funny behaviors that make me laugh like when I see him looking at himself in the mirror. He has good litter manners and likes to keep himself groomed. Claude would also do well in a home with another cat, and he would thrive and respond well to someone who would give him the time to settle in and the love he needs!
