Behavior is one of the top reasons dogs are sent to shelters, according to the The Humane Society of the United States. We are excited to announce that Young-Williams Animal Center has partnered with GoodPup to provide our adopters, fosters and community members with convenient, affordable, science-based dog training. GoodPup offers individualized attention, motivation, and guidance from experienced private trainers - anytime, anywhere. Trainers tailor techniques to your dog and home, provide alternate strategies when something isn’t working and are always there to answer your questions. We hope you’ll join GoodPup in their mission to develop stronger bonds, healthier relationships and better communication with our pets.

Ask us about microchips, the identification tags that never fall off. The tiny chip, embedded under the animal’s skin in a quick and painless procedure, contains vital information that can help animal control officers or Young-Williams team members return lost or stolen pets to their owners.
Young-Williams Animal Center provides discount microchipping by appointment at our Division Street location. To make an appointment, please text or call 865.265.1456.
The fee for this service is $15, which includes registration. We proudly use Found Animals Registry microchips.
