Bionic Milo

Meet Bionic Milo! This handsome young gentleman is a sweetheart just wanting to love, play, and eat treats. He is a big cuddler who will give you lots of kisses, flop on his back for belly scratches, and smush his face into yours to show how much he loves you. His favorite thing to do is play, no matter what form that takes: fetch, running, playing with other dogs, tug of war, play fighting with your mop - as long as he's involved, he's happy. This happy guy is very well housebroken. We leave him loose in the house while we're gone for work full time, and he's never had a single accident in the house. He's not destructive - though, as a young dog that still has some puppy-like tendencies, he can be a bit too curious with things left on or near the ground (like shoes). And he's not loud - he only barks if he's scared of something. Milo is a very quick learner, able to pick up multiple skills in just a week. This is thanks to not only how treat motivated he is, but how well mannered, obedient, and smart he is. Currently, he's a bona fide master of sit and will do so for food, during fetch, when leashing up for a walk, et cetera. He also knows down, paw, "come here," "this way," and "look at me" (when he's reacting to something scary). We're teaching him new skills constantly, and he's sure to pick up on anything you decide to teach him quickly. Milo is very friendly with other dogs, going to playgroups at the shelter, where he is confident, sweet, and playful. As a big, rowdy puppy, it's important to make sure he wouldn't overpower any resident dogs, as he can play hard. Make sure to set up a meet and greet to introduce any other resident dogs to him. He'd love to meet them. But as any young puppy is, Milo is a scaredy cat when faced with things he doesn't know - strangers especially. He may get spooked if someone approaches him too quickly that he doesn't know. He's very quick to make friends, though. You see, the offer of a treat overrides any survival instincts this silly man may have. Milo has made very good progress in overcoming his reactivity with treats, toys, and outlets for his energy. Milo is a sweet, smart, well-behaved young man who would love to be part of your family. Apply to meet him today!
