YWAC Cat-a-palooza Continues

Seth-A31882944(2)Is a new feline friend on your radar? You won’t have any difficulty finding the perfect kitty at Young-Williams Animal Center. The center is near capacity and offering a special on cats to encourage lifesaving adoptions.

With the “Cat-a-palooza” special, adoption fees for kittens are reduced to $40, and cats 5 months and older are free. Shelter officials hope the special will be a lifeline for the many cats and kittens waiting at Young-Williams Animal Center for forever, loving homes.

Every adopted animal will receive the services usually covered by regular fees, which include veterinary exam, spay/neuter surgery, some standard vaccinations, microchip with registration and more. The special will be available at both Young-Williams Animal Center at 3201 Division St., off Sutherland Avenue, and the Young-Williams Animal Village at 6400 Kingston Pike on Bearden Hill.

The best and most humane way to help control pet overpopulation in East Tennessee and lower intake numbers at area shelters is to spay and neuter animals in the community.
