Target Circle donation exceeds $4,000
Young-Williams Animal Center, thanks to the community’s support, has received more than $4,000 from Target Circle’s giving program.
Our shelter received both the highest number of votes and the largest donation of $4,056.42 thanks to the efforts of Target shoppers and our supporters.
“We are grateful for every single vote and all the supporters that helped us make the most of this incredible opportunity,” says Janet Testerman, CEO of Young-Williams Animal Center. “This donation will directly support our mission to lead the community to end pet homelessness, promote animal welfare and enhance the human-animal bond.”
From Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 2020, shoppers had the opportunity to vote for Young-Williams Animal Center through the Target Circle giving program. In each voting period, Target makes a charitable donation to be shared among selected nonprofits.
The donation is allocated based on the percentage of votes each organization receives during a specific voting period. Each nonprofit is guaranteed a minimum of $1,000 for participating.
Target Circle is a loyalty program for shoppers and provides opportunities for a more rewarding shopping experience, including local giving programs. For more information about Target Circle, visit www.target.com/circle.
