Holiday Gift Guide to Support Pets

The holiday shopping season is upon us. For many people that means getting started on those gift lists, and finding the perfect presents for your loved ones. If you’re looking for unique gifts with meaning, Young-Williams Animal Center has some ideas that are sure to put a smile on the faces of all your family and friends.

2023 Young-Williams Pet Calendar

As 2022 comes to a close, it is time to look ahead to a new year. The Young-Williams Animal Center calendar contest, sponsored by Mortgage Investors Group helps provide care for the nearly 10,000 homeless, stray, and unwanted pets the shelter takes in every year.

All proceeds support the mission of Young-Williams Animal Center to lead the community to end pet homelessness, promote animal welfare, and enhance the human-animal bond. To order your 2023 Young-Williams Animal Center Pet Calendar, click here.

Become a Furry Friend

Did you know it costs $350 to provide general care, food, veterinary treatment, vaccines, spay or neuter, and a microchip for each pet that comes to Young-Williams? The Furry Friend program allows animal lovers of all ages to help a pet in need without committing to adoption. Your gift of at least $50 will be dedicated to one animal waiting to be adopted. We will notify you of which animal received your donation, and their kennel will proudly display your sponsorship.

A Furry Friend sponsorship is a great way to show your support for our adoption program, and it’s also a thoughtful gift idea. Sponsorships can be made in honor of someone special or in memory of a favorite pet. Click here to learn more.

Walkway of Life

Memorialize a special animal or person with a permanently engraved brick on the Young-Williams Animal Center Walkway of Life.

With a donation of $100, you can honor a family member, special friend, or favorite pet with an engraved message. These beautiful pieces of masonry line the walkway to the main shelter and pay tribute to animals and the people who love them.
