H.A.L.T. Program Update!

Once again, five dogs from YWAC will be participating in the HALT fall session and will be available for adoption in October!

HALT (Humans and Animals Learning Together) is a non-profit program within which at-risk adolescents teach basic obedience commands to dogs rescued from area shelters!

The HALT program is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year which means that they have successfully worked with more than 1300 adolescents and placed 324 dogs in new homes! Not too shabby for a program that is made up entirely of volunteers!

For more information about the dogs (and their pictures) or the HALT program, please visit their website www.vet.utk.edu/halt or call Catatoga Kennels at 865-693-5540!

Dogs from the fall session of HALT are now available for adoption!
