The 100K Challenge is  back for a third year, inviting shelters across the country to save more lives than ever before. In 2010, competing shelters increased lives saved by 7,362 in just three months and last year’s contestants  increased lives saved by an astonishing 8,977 more cats and dogs. Check out the numbers for yourself! Grand Prize winner Austin Pets Alive! earned $100,000 by saving 850 more dogs and cats August through October over those same months/prior year.
