We are excited to announce that we are participating in BISSELL Pet Foundation’s National Empty The Shelters reduced-fee adoption event from October 1-15, 2025.

Here’s what you need to know about the event:
All adult cats and dogs (6 months+) will be eligible for waived adoption fees with a monetary donation of your choice from October 1-15.
 YWAC pets in foster care (6 months+) are also eligible for this event.
 Puppies and kittens are NOT included in this event.
 All animals adopted from Young-Williams will be spayed/neutered and microchipped before they go home with an adopter.
 All adopters must sign an adoption survey in person upon adoption.
 All adopters must provide a valid driver’s license to complete an adoption.
