What Your Support Makes Possible: Dave’s Story and More

Dear Friends,

Spring is a time of renewal and growth – a season of new beginnings.

For the animals at Young-Williams Animal Center, it’s also a time of new beginnings made possible by compassionate friends like you.

Every day, animals arrive at our door needing care, love and the chance to thrive. During this time of rejuvenation, you can be the reason hope springs eternal for pets like Dave who came to Young-Williams scared and unsure. He stuck close to other dogs, finding comfort in their presence, because people seemed overwhelming. But with the care and support made possible by donors like you, Dave began to heal.

Misty arrived at our shelter doors looking for a fur-ever friend and immediately saw the loneliness in Dave’s eyes. She knew she could give him the life he, and every animal, so richly deserves. Reflecting on Dave’s transformation, Misty shared, “When I first rescued Dave, he was a fearful and anxious dog due to a rough start in life. Through love and patience, he discovered a sense of purpose and confidence. Now, he connects with people on a deep, emotional level, offering comfort, joy and companionship.”

Today, Dave is a ray of sunshine that brings smiles, peace and happiness to children at a local middle school. Once deprived of the human-animal bond, he blossomed through the roots of love and trust, now inspiring everyone he meets. Dave’s incredible change in life is a testament to what’s possible when animals are given a second chance.

Your gift today will:

· Provide essential medical care for sick and injured animals.

· Offer shelter and warmth to pets who have nowhere else to turn.

· Help find loving homes for animals like Dave.

This spring, we ask you to help more animals like Dave bloom where they’re planted. Your giving spirit makes meaningful change happen every day. Thank you for being the heart of our mission.

Warm Wishes,

Janet Testerman, CEO
