Upcoming Events

It’s that time of the year where everyone wants to be outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and that means it’s time for events!  When the weather is nice, we are lucky enough to be invited to many businesses, festivals and parties in the Knoxville community!  We are so blessed when it comes to our local businesses that support local animal rescue!  Here is a list of just some of the upcoming events we are involved in, especially this coming weekend, May 2-4th!  Mark your calendars and we hope to see you and your dog at some of these events!  (And be sure to take photos and post them on our Facebook page!)

YWACflyerMay 2nd-4thBrixx Wood Fired Pizza fundraiser, bring the flyer in or tell your server that you are eating for Young-Williams Animal Center and Young-Williams (YWAC) will receive $3 per 10″ pizza and $1 per kids pizza!  Offer valid at BOTH Knoxville Brixx locations, West Hills and Turkey Creek.

Friday, May 2ndUrban Outfitters 1-year Anniversary Party from 2pm-8pm-Dog friendly and featuring DIY-dog bandanas and Doggie Photo Booth.  YWAC will be there with adoptable dogs from 3pm-5pm!

Saturday, May 3rd:  YWAC will be at Citifid-o, 429 Union Avenue, just west of Market Square, from 12pm-3pm with adoptable dogs for you to meet.  Join us for unique pet treats and awesome gear for your pets!

Saturday, May 3rdVillage Veterinary Medical Center, 11301 Kingston Pike, will be having their annual Spring Pet Fair from 11am-3pm.  YWAC will have a booth there with information and treats for your dogs!

Sunday, May 4th:  We will be celebrating National Adoption Weekend with PetSmart Charities at PetSmart Morrell Road from 12pm-3pm with adoptable pets for you to visit with!

Saturday, May 10thHillbilly 66 Kar and Bike Kruise-In at Knoxville Harley Davidson, 5800 Clinton Hwy.  Proceeds from this event come back to help the animals at Young-Williams Animal Center.

Saturday, June 14thHumane Society of TN Valley‘s Bark in the Park from 6pm-9pm at Market Square.
