In 2018\, for the first time in the history of our organization\, we achieved a 90%+ save rate\, earning our designation as a no-kill shelter and saving 8\,311 animals. This event is a celebration that piggybacks Thanksgiving\, Black Friday\, small business Saturday and Cyber Monday and is a global holiday that raises BILLIONS of dollars for charities around the world. Since 2015\, it’s really taken off and this day plays an important role in providing for the animals in the shelter. \nIn 2021\, Giving Tuesday falls on Nov. 30 and Young-Williams Animal Center is celebrating locally by participating in The Big Give. \nHere’s where you come in. We need your help to reach each of our three BIG give goals: \n1. Raise $10\,000 in donations \n2. Win the Closing Time Prize for raising the most money between 5:00 – 6:00 PM \n3. Win the Nouveau Riche Prize by being the organization with the most NEW donors on November 30. \nThe easiest way you can help us reach these goals is by becoming a fundraiser and asking your friends\, family and followers to support the cause you care about.
