Registration is $15 per pet and we’ll have seven fun categories to compete in. DESCRIPTION:Young-Williams Animal Center to participate in national event\nBISSELL Pet Foundation is hosting its summer 2021 national “Empty the Shelters” adoption event July 7 – 11\, 2021\, a quarterly effort that has helped more than 53\,742 pets find their forever homes in area shelters. During each nationwide event\, BISSELL Pet Foundation helps sponsor reduced adoption fees for $25 or less per dog\, cat\, puppy and kitten. This summer’s event will be hosted in more than 180 shelters in 40 states\, including Young-Williams Animal Center. \n\nYoung-Williams Animal Center is offering adoptions for a donation of any amount through July 11 at both shelter locations.\nThe special excludes puppies.\nYou can see our adoptable pets at www.young-williams.org/adopt-a-pet.\n\nThe “Empty the Shelters” event began in 2016 as an effort to encourage more families to adopt a pet into their home. Since its inception\, BISSELL Pet Foundation has expanded its “Empty the Shelters” reach to organizations in 45 states and Canada\, partnering with a total of 414 shelters. We’re expanding our adoption partnership with PetCo to include the Farragut location!  PetCo is committed to matching wonderful\, adoptable pets with loving families. \nOur adoptable pets will be at PetCo Farragut on Saturday\, July 17\, from 11 – 3 for our next adoption event. Stop by to see our adoptable cats\, kittens and dogs. No appointment is necessary to meet the adoptable pets at this event. Please wear a mask and follow social distance guidelines while visiting with the animals. Can’t make it this month? We’re there the third Saturday of each month. Stop by\, say hi and adopt a new friend as part of our life-saving partnership with the Petco Foundation.
