To keep our participants\, instructors and volunteers safe we are taking additional health purr-cautions. Please bring your own yoga mat and masks are encouraged.  Our Event space will be sanitized between sessions and we are limiting the class size to 15 participants to ensure enough space in the studio to socially distance. \nTickets are $25 and 100% of proceeds benefit the pets at Young-Williams Animal Center. Apart from hearing it was “good for you”\, I knew nothing about yoga. One day a week along with other workouts was\, in my mind\, a good place to start. But then…a teacher at the studio suggested that with 2 to 3 days a week\, I would really begin to see the benefits. I took her advice and I fell in love! I couldn’t have imagined then how much this practice would bring me in the following over 10 years; strength\, flexibility\, peace\, and the very best friends I’ve ever had. Yoga has truly been the best gift in my life. \n \nAbout Down Dog Knox:\nThe ancient yogis believed that health and happiness was the birthright of all beings. At Down Dog Knox\, our goal is to help individuals claim this birthright. To sit in a space of peace\, not feeling less than\, not feeling better than\, but to accept and celebrate the authentic self. No apologies. \nBeyond wellness and contentment ourselves\, we are here to support animals\, helping them find loving\, healthy homes\, and joyful lives through nourishing treats and support of our local shelters. \nI teach “Your Body Yoga” from 5:30 to 6:30 pm every Wednesday at Breezeway Yoga in the Kroger shopping center in Bearden. In this class\, each person is taught adaptations for their unique physiology. Had a knee replacement? Come join us! Have diabetes?
