We’re coming together again with a new partner 865life to bring you an even bigger PUP QUIZ EVENT!! \nThe amazing guys and gals at Deaf Mutt Brewery are (donating) releasing a specialty beer that will be on tap (until it kicks) and ALL PROCEEDS FROM EVERY OUNCE poured will be donated back to YWAC by Pour & Deaf Mutt! \n#865Life will be onsite for a retail #POPUP with tons of special pooch forward swag\, t-shirts\, accessories and such. \nBasic rundown to participate in Pup Quiz: $10 donation to play. Two contestants in each round that will answer a couple animal-centric trivia questions. Correct answers earn you a pup to hold during your round BUT if your answer is WRONG then your opponent will get that puppy to hold. \n**FINAL PUPPARDY IS A THING!!** \nContestant with the most puppies at the end of each round is crowned a winner and will receive a PRIZE – no it’s not a puppy but Young Williams has plenty of those up for adoption! \nWe will try to fit in as many rounds as we can during the 3 hour event up to 4-5 rounds per hour.

Save the date and sign up now for Saturday\, March 2\, when thousands of spectators will line the streets of downtown Knoxville to watch hundreds of furry friends\, many in costume\, march with their humans to raise both awareness for the life-saving efforts of Young-Williams Animal Center and support for Knoxville’s pet-friendliest community. \nOur mission is to “Find a Home for Every Pet\,” and whether you’re a sponsor\, vendor or participant of Mardi Growl\, Young-Williams Animal Center’s largest fundraiser\, you will help continue much-needed services for nearly 10\,000 animals. \nMardi Growl has been voted “Best Non-Profit fundraiser\,” and being our 11th year\, we expect this to be our biggest event ever. The pet parade steps off at 11 a.m. from Willow Avenue\, winds through the Old City and down Gay Street before leading to a party on Market Square and Krutch Park. The festival is from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.\, hosting more than 60 vendors.

The Early Bird cost is $25 and increases to $30 after June 8: https://runsignup.com/Race/TN/Knoxville/TheRescueRun5Kand1MileFunWalk \nCOURSE DESCRIPTION:\nUpon exiting Young Williams\, turn left on to Sutherland Avenue for a short distance turning right on Concord heading downhill to turn right on to the Third Creek Greenway. Upon exiting the Greenway\, cross Sutherland to Cox\, take a left on Reagan to PIlkay then turning right on Knott. Follow Knott to cross Liberty heading toward Division. A steady gradual downhill on Division for the last three quarters of a mile returns you to Young Williams for the finish.

The Early Bird cost is $25 and increases to $30 after June 8: https://runsignup.com/Race/TN/Knoxville/TheRescueRun5Kand1MileFunWalk \nCOURSE DESCRIPTION:\nUpon exiting Young Williams\, turn left on to Sutherland Avenue for a short distance turning right on Concord heading downhill to turn right on to the Third Creek Greenway. Upon exiting the Greenway\, cross Sutherland to Cox\, take a left on Reagan to PIlkay then turning right on Knott. Follow Knott to cross Liberty heading toward Division. A steady gradual downhill on Division for the last three quarters of a mile returns you to Young Williams for the finish.
