DESCRIPTION:Amplify the good created on Giving Tuesday! What’s Giving Tuesday? This event is a celebration that piggybacks Thanksgiving\, Black Friday\, small business Saturday and Cyber Monday and is a global holiday that raises BILLIONS of dollars for charities around the world. Since 2015\, it’s really taken off and this day plays an important role in providing for the animals in the shelter. \nIn 2021\, Giving Tuesday falls on Nov. 30 and Young-Williams Animal Center is celebrating locally by participating in The Big Give. \nHere’s where you come in. We need your help to reach each of our three BIG give goals: \n1. Raise $10\,000 in donations \n2. Win the Closing Time Prize for raising the most money between 5:00 – 6:00 PM \n3. Win the Nouveau Riche Prize by being the organization with the most NEW donors on November 30. \nThe easiest way you can help us reach these goals is by becoming a fundraiser and asking your friends\, family and followers to support the cause you care about. Becoming a fundraiser is quick and easy. Visit our Big Give page here and click the black “FUNDRAISE” button. Here you’ll set up an account and your own personal fundraising page. Feel free to include a photo or story about why you love Young-Williams and why you’re asking others to give. Need some help with your page? Reach out to our fundraising team at donations@young-williams.org. \nLeading up to November 30\, share your fundraising page on social media\, talk about it at Thanksgiving Dinner or even post in a neighborhood group. Then\, on Tuesday November 30 it’s time to shine! Share your page all day long\, but don’t forget to encourage your friends and family to give during the 5:00 PM hour. \nThanks so much for helping us care for the nearly 10\,000 animals that come to us in need of shelter each year.
