Animals like Vash the Stampede. Vash arrived with a broken paw\, and thanks to the Animal Compassion Fund\, he received surgery to reset the broken bones. This little kitty is a trooper\, and doesn’t mind taking it easy in his foster home. The best news is\, as soon as he’s healed\, he already has an adopter waiting to take him to his forever home! SUMMARY:Kitten Pilates with Susie
DESCRIPTION:We’re taking a twist on our regular Kitten Yoga Series and inviting you to join us for an hour of Pilates with Susie Que  and our most adorable residents: Our Kittens! To keep our participants\, instructors and volunteers safe we are taking additional health purr-cautions. Masks are encouraged and you will need to bring your own mat.  Our Event space will be sanitized between sessions and we are limiting the class size to 10 participants to ensure enough space in the studio to socially distance. \nTickets are $25 and 100% of proceeds benefit the pets at Young-Williams Animal Center. Learn more about how your registration fee helps our kittens at www.young-williams.org/kittens \n\n \nMeet Susie\nAfter an accident (falling off a big horse) and a 6 hour back surgery\, my doctor told me to take Pilates classes. I took my first class in 2005. My back is in better shape now than prior to my accident. \nI realized that I love Pilates so much that I wanted to teach it to others\, so they may benefit the way I have. Since I am already a teacher (elementary education)\, the teaching part has been an easy transition. The movements we do are also easy to teach since I have been doing them so long. I started my teacher training in 2012 and began teaching mat classes in 2013. I started my apparatus training in August 2018 and hope to complete it within a year! \nMy posture\, balance and body is in much better shape now than it ever has been. I no longer have the aches and pains of age (but do get some when I do not work out regularly)! I hope you decide to join me in a class soon! \nVisit her webpage here.
