Madeline & Addison have been my fosters since New Years Eve. Their joyous personalities are virtually the same so what I am sharing goes for both the girls. They are wonderful, happy and well socialized. I will bullet point their attributes:Lived w 2 small dogs and cat and a parrot. Met many large dogs & were properly submissive while trying to make friends. I am a dog groomer so tried to introduce the puppies to calm, safe larger dogs. My son's Huskey also stayed w us over the holidays.Went to preschool w me tues & Thursdays. I also teach preschool & bring my foster puppies & kittens so they can experience small children in a controlled environment. It's wonderful for everyone. Went to church with me on Sundays. I also bring my fosters to church so they can meet many different people and get adoption exposer. They have a pen set up for people to come & socialize, cuddle and hold. Feel very comfortable in their kennels & treat them as safe spaces. Will go inside the nap or play whenever door is openSleep thru the night in kennelEat 3 meals a day; breakfast 7am, lunch @ Noon and dinner 5:30. Food motivated which is a plus for future training.baths and nails clipped on regular basisBeen on a schedule & go to bed around 9:30pm. Breakfast/play BIG morning nap, lunch/play BIG afternoon nap, dinner/play go to bed around 9:30. Tues/thurs do the routine at preschool from 8:30/2:30have spent 5-6 hours kenneled, at times.Love outside time and play in fenced yardVery close to housebreaking & have no problem going potty in the rain or cold. Loved the snowTravel well in car. They do bark in travel kennel till they settle down.Bark from kennel at meal times and when it's time to wake up; usually 6:30-7am. Bark while playing. Normal barking & nothing excessive Love sofa cuddle time & "behind the knee" naps on their human. Sleep in numerous dog beds all over the house & play w toys. Have started understanding words: Leave it and NO, treat, Dinner, outside, "kennel kennel", where is your toy, Good Girl! And all those various noises we use when puppies get into things to make them stop.These girls are very smart and adaptable. It would only take a couple of times to introduce a new schedule or procedure and they had learned/changed their routine. They definitely act like Labradors and have all those wonderful breed personality traits & good qualities.You would be very lucky to add either of these sweet pups to your life!
