Come meet our sweet little Weeble, our foster wobble kitty about three months old. She is a "special needs kitty". She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This is a neurological condition where the part of the brain responsible for coordination and balance is under developed. She staggers, sways and falls over, but gets right back up and takes off running!!! This is a pain free condition and she will have a normal life span. Don't let this scare you off! She is so smart and has learned to compensate quickly with adjustments made for her. She may need a little assistance to steady her while she eats so she doesn't fall in her food. She is a fast eater, so we find it quicker, sometimes to hold her to eat than to have to give her a bath if she falls in her food. She uses her litter box, but occasionally she falls over and may need a quick wipe or bath. She needs to be kept away from stairs. Having carpeted floors would be better or put carpets around on hardwood floors would help her.She gets along with our older cats. She hasn't been around dogs or kids.She loves to play with her toys and run around with the big guys.She must be an indoor cat only. She will give you love, lots of laughs and purrs.
